About the hotel
Adjacent to the fjord in the idyllic hamlet of Solvorn in the rural district of Luster lies the Walaker Hotel. The hotel, which has been passed down from generation to generation, is a charming family hotel and an attraction in itself. The hotel has been in the family's hands since 1690, and is the oldest family-run hotel in Norway, with a history of over 310 years.
The gardens
The romantic gardens are an important feature of the friendly and picturesque environment of the Walaker Hotel. Black Bryony adorns the walls, and the lilacs and fruit trees are in full blossom in the garden. Surrounded by majestic mountains and with a magnificent view of the legendary Sognefjord, you will be at peace with yourself and the world here!

Our ambition is that our guests enjoy their stay with us, and that they enjoy each others company. The perfect framework for this is the evening meal. We pride ourselves on the standard of our menu and wine list. And, as evening turns into night, we want our guests to enjoy a good, relaxing night's sleep.
