Bergsetdalen - Bergsetbreen

The starting point for this hike is the parking lot at Bergset, the foremost farm in Krundalen. From the parking lot, you walk along the river, continue a short distance on a tractor road and then along a very good and clearly marked path into the flat Bergsetdalen.

Vegetation is lush to begin with, but the closer you get to the glacier, the less forest and plants there are.

At Bergsetbreen, it is especially Baklibreen, on the north side of the main valley, that you must pay attention to.

It takes about 1 hour to walk to the glacier.
