Mørkridsdalen

The starting point for this tour is the disused Hyrnavollen farm in Mørkridsdalen.

After driving over the bridge at Moen, just follow the road, which crosses the river again, and finally ends at a spacious parking lot.

The path ahead along Mørkridsdalen belongs to the DNT route network in Luster, and is therefore very well cleared and marked. It runs along the river and then turns up into the special Tjørnaholet.

Gradually you come to the farm houses at Dulsete. Further on, it is more or less flat past the Liane farm and along the river to Dalen. For many, the tour will end here, but for the fittest you can continue up towards Austra and towards Arentsbu.

Walking time to Dalen is approx. 2 hours and to Austra between 3 and 4 hours.
