RIB and bike tour at Veitastrondsvatnet

Join a guided RIB tour on Veitastrondsvatnet with E-Bike on the return trip to Hafslo. The trip to Veitastrond takes about an hour and here the guide tells short and funny stories about the people who lived around the lake. When you arrive at Veitastrond, the bikes are waiting for you. From the end of the boat trip and back to Hafslo, there are 30 km of flat and nice terrain. We always recommend taking the extra 18 kilometers up to Tungestølen. Veitastrond is located near the Jostedalsbreen glacier. There are several farmers here, and there is also the possibility of buying brown cheese that is produced here. Look for cheese for sale signs along the road as you cycle. The steep mountains around the village, and the water from the glacier, make it a fertile area. During the bike ride you will have a great view of the mountains and Veitastrondsvatnet which reflects the snow-capped peaks. There are several nice places to stop along the way, both to take pictures or to take a break.
